Free Resource Library

These free resources were created mostly with middle school students in mind (grades 6-8), as I have taught middle school for twelve years. However, there are a handful of my free resources that have specific, purposeful crossover for middle and high school students and are labeled as such.

Additionally, I try to work with my teacher-author friends regularly to bring you free resources outside of my own store and expertise. Those freebie events will always be linked here. =)

A Movie Marathon of ELA Freebies is here! Read the whole blog post.

Science of Reading Toolkit for Secondary Educators

This toolkit is my most downloaded freebie, helping thousands of educators bring the Science of Reading research into their classrooms. It contains a full breakdown of the research and how it applies to our secondary classrooms, links to additional information and a ton of implementation ideas. This labor of love is one of my favorite resources that I have ever created and I would love if you would pass the word onto your content area colleagues. This is how we get our students reading! We have to work together.
